The Board of Directors of the Western Slope Bears meets once a month. These meetings are open and may be attended by organization members, invited guests, and prospective members.
Each member of the Board of Directors serves a two year term and are eligible to serve two consecutive terms. In order to help provide a smooth transition, the following guidelines were established within the group’s bylaws concerning elections of the Board.
1.) The elections of the offices of President and Secretary shall take place during at the endof the first quarter of the calendar year.
2.) The elections of the offices of Vice-President and Treasurer shall take place at the end of the the second quarter of the calendar year.
These guidelines were established to create an overlap of seated and new board members and to help with transitioning and allowing a seated board to become cohesive and develop the opportunity to work together.
